If you have just started flyfishing or have had a life time of stalking and hunting trout, then there is nothing nicer then coming across a spring creek in the middle of a farm paddock that holds good fish. Presentation and selection of the fly is Paramount!! The results will be talked about for years and will always bring a smile to your face.





wow, thats a neat sight – rather different isnt it cathing a brown like that, you should fish down southland, nz as you can often find springs and interesting pools like that one…!

Kia Ora John, yeah its good fun to see fish come up and take a fly like that! You obviously know what its like! I hear you i reckon southland must be full of little creeks like this one. Are you from down that way? Cheers mate. Henare
