Sick with envy. I hope someday to travel back with Liz and walk along the river and cast a few times myself. Looks beautiful. A bit more hiking than I expected, but well worth every minute. The beauty of the river and it's surroundings was unbelievable. The fishing was a lot different than I expected but I enjoyed the experience and look forward to returning to the river and catching the one I lost. (remember - I do have a year's license...) And yes, my brothers are dying of envy. They said I could talk about the fly fishing for the day but then I could never talk about it again... A definite sign of their jealousy. We all have been raving about our day with you and your expertise in finding the fish. Your name is at the top of the list of referrals for family and friends heading over to NZ for the fun of fly fishing or Heliskiing. I'm only sorry we didn't have enough time for what I'am sure would have been a great massage from your wife and spend some time with Jazz.
