Winter will often see the lakes glassy calm with scenes you could make a calender out of. I teamed up with Gordy Watson and we had a good look around the top of the lake. We spotted some good fish and had some opportunity but i think the scenery got in the way!!

Bruce with a nice Salmon that was destined for the smoker, ( best smoked salmon ever) were the comments that came back from our guests during a alpine camp out high in the mountains. Marinated Racks of NZ Lamb with antipasto platters enjoyed with some great local Pinot Noir and Pinot Gries. How about Pavlova with strawberries and cream to finish.
